Entrance Exam Description
During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic Physics and Mathematics.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Overview
It is a studio-centric program run by the Institute of Architecture & Design, combining architectural design with urban analysis and planning in real contexts. You’ll learn to turn real briefs into buildable concepts—thinking like a designer and planning like an urbanist in hands-on studios; sketch fast, model in CAD/BIM and 3D, and translate ideas into crisp drawings, renders, and a portfolio that stands out; read the city with site analysis, mapping, and GIS, then convert data into smart masterplans and public-space designs; design climate-responsive, sustainable projects while understanding structure, materials, and basic codes; respect heritage and regenerate places with contemporary solutions; pitch like a pro—clear storytelling, confident presentations, and teamwork with city and industry partners.
Students prepare course and graduation projects in cooperation with the Lviv City Council and the State Institute of Urban Planning “Mistoproekt. AVR Development an architectural and engineering company focused on large-scale innovative projects set up an initiative to integrate real projects, internships, BIM & R&D into coursework.
