Entrance Exam Description

During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic Physics and Mathematics.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Program Structure

Year 1 — Foundations (Semesters 1–2)
Foreign Language for Specific Purposes (Part 1); Political Science; Ukrainian Language (for professional purposes); Introduction to Specialty “Management” (+ course project); Management; Macroeconomics; Mathematics for Economists (Part 1); Physical Education (Part 1).
Computer Science; Philosophy; Management System Development (course project); Microeconomics; History of Ukrainian State and Culture; Mathematics for Economists (Part 2: Probability & Statistics); Foreign Language (Part 2); Physical Education (Part 2); History of Economics & Economic Thought.

Year 2 — Core Management & International Business (Semesters 3–4)
Marketing; Accounting; International Economics; Enterprise Economic Activities; Statistics; Physical Education (Part 3); plus an elective block (e.g., Fundamentals of International Relations Theory; Business Documentation; Business-Economics; PR; Social Policy; Ethics of Business; Business Planning; International Business; Logistics & Supply Chain (EU experience), etc.).
Management of Innovative Activities; Logistics; Foreign Economic Activity of Enterprise; Management of Competitive Advantages; Customs Affairs; Business Management; Economic Analysis; Physical Education (Part 4); Designing a Foreign Economic Operation (course project).

Year 3 — Specialization Starts (Semesters 5–6)
Common core: Development of Start-Ups Business Plans (course project); Operational Management; Technology of Foreign Trade Operations; Physical Education (Part 5). Then choose a practice line (track): 1) Management of Organizations & Administration, 2) Innovation Management (tourism & recreation), 3) Foreign-Economic Activity Management, 4) Customs Management, 5) HR Management & Administration, 6) Logistics.
Examples by track (Semester 5): Controlling; Communication Management; Financial Management Fundamentals (Org. & Admin); International Transportation; International Investment (FEA); Inventory Basics & Design Thinking; Business Processes in Tourist & Recreational Companies (Innovation in Tourism); Transport Logistics; Logistics Insurance (Logistics); HR Information Systems; Labor Economics; Labor Market (HR); Customs Activity Management; Customs Clearance of Foreign-Economic Operations (Customs).
Semester 6 adds core Fundamentals of Occupational Safety & Health; Marketing Research; Human Resource Management; Physical Education (Part 6) + track courses (e.g., International Logistics; Warehouse Logistics for Logistics; Taxation of Foreign Economic Activity; Management of Export-Import Operations in the EU context for FEA; HR-analytics; Organizational Behavior for HR; Risk Management in Customs Activity for Customs).

Year 4 — Advanced Track + Thesis (Semesters 7–8)
Deepening in your chosen line. Examples:
Logistics: Strategic Marketing; Quality Management; Design of Distribution Networks (course project); Logistics Economy; City Logistics; Eco-logistics.
Foreign-Economic Activity: International Projects & Programs; International Monetary & FX Transactions; International Stock Market; Contract Activity Management; Budgeting; Development of an International Project (course work).
Customs: Customs Audit; Customs Service of International Transportation; Offshore Operations; Decision-making in FEA; Budgeting (course project).
HR: Corporate Culture; Management of Intellectual Potential; Staff Motivation; HR-analytics; Personnel Development Management.
Management of Organizations & Administration: Strategic Management of Enterprise; Evaluation of Organizations’ Financial-Economic Activities; Business Foreign Language; Investment Management; Motivational Management (+ course projects).
Innovation Management (tourism & recreation): Strategic Management of Innovative Development; Communication Management in Tourist Companies; Event Management; Economic Evaluation of Innovative Processes (+ course work).
Final semester: Pre-thesis practice and Bachelor’s thesis defense.

Overview

Educational and professional program have six practical lines - Management of Organizations and Administration (by Economic Activities); Management of Innovative Activities in Tourism and Recreation; Foreign Economic Activities Management; Customs
Management Activities; Human Resources Management and Administration; Logistics.
Academic mobility is encouraged and recognized in accordance with the procedures of ECTS. Practical training on the theme of the bachelor`s qualification work.
