| Entry qualification | The certificate of Completed Secondary Education is required. Compulsory entrance exam. The entry qualification documents are accepted in English (except for documents issued in Ukraine upon completion of studies at local educational institutions) . In most cases you can request a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original & legalized (according to the international agreements) entry qualification documents along with you when you finally enter the university. |

Entrance Exam Description
The tests are expected to ensure entrant’s base level in language and certain disciplines is up to national standards.
Exams are taken online. I order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on Academy’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Year 1 — Foundations
- University core & academic skills (foreign language, academic writing, etc.).
- Math & CS basics: Discrete Mathematics; Calculus; Linear Algebra; Probability & Statistics; Numerical Methods; Theory of Algorithms & Logic; Operations Research; Physics.
- Algorithmization & Programming, Electronics, Computer Graphics.
Year 2 — Core CS
- Computer Architecture & Circuitry; Databases & Knowledge Bases; Object-Oriented Programming; Operating Systems; Computer Networks.
- Web Technologies & Web Design; Cross-platform Programming; Systems Theory & Analysis; Systems Modelling.
Year 3 — Advanced & AI / Security / Data
- Information Security Technologies; Methods & Systems of Artificial Intelligence; Distributed & Parallel Computing; Data Mining; IT Project Management; Information Systems Design.
Year 4 — Specialisation, Practice & Thesis
Elective tracks (examples used at IAPM):
- Network technologies & system administration — structured cabling, IP networks, hardware setup, robotics/microprocessors, routing, reliability, network security, server OS admin, global networks, IoT, wireless/sensor networks.
- Software / games / web development — Big Data basics, cryptology, information theory & coding, mobile app development, Python (Base/Pro), cybersecurity, Blockchain, PHP (server-side), CMS, JavaScript, 3D modelling, SEO/web analytics, online game development.
Practice: academic/industrial/pre-diploma internships (12 ECTS total) + Bachelor’s thesis (6 ECTS).
Overview
The program is oriented towards training the qualified specialists and gives the students the opportunity to acquire thorough skillset in modern information technology and a career perspective in IT.
