| Entry qualification | The certificate of Completed Secondary Education is required. Compulsory entrance exam. The entry qualification documents are accepted in English (except for documents issued in Ukraine upon completion of studies at local educational institutions) . In most cases you can request a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original & legalized (according to the international agreements) entry qualification documents along with you when you finally enter the university. |

Entrance Exam Description
During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic subjects depends on speciality.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.
Program Structure
Year 1 – Artistic & Digital Foundations
Drawing and Painting, Composition & Color Theory, History of Art and Design, Basics of Computer Graphics, Introduction to Design & Digital Technologies, Academic Drawing & 3D Form Modeling, Fundamentals of Programming, Technical Aesthetics, Measured Practice.
Students build artistic and digital foundations, learning drawing, color theory, design history, basic programming, and introductory computer graphics.
Year 2 – Core IT & Digital Design Skills
2D Computer Graphics (Photoshop, Illustrator equivalents), 3D Modeling Fundamentals, Web Design Basics, Multimedia Design, Ergonomics / Ergodesign, UI/UX Fundamentals, Digital Photography & Image Processing, Design Project Development I, Computer Animation Basics, Educational/Project Practice.
Training focuses on 2D and 3D modeling, web and multimedia design, ergonomics, UI/UX basics, and practical project work.
Year 3 – Advanced IT-Design & Interactive Media
Advanced 3D Modeling, Motion Graphics & Animation, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) Basics, Interface Design & Interactive Systems, Environment / Spatial Digital Design, Marketing in Design, Project Management for Designers, Design Project Development II. Electives (examples): New Trends in Digital Design, Game Design Essentials, Digital Art Technologies, Professional Practice.
Learners dive into motion graphics, animation, virtual and augmented reality, interface and game design, and project management for digital design.
Year 4 – Professional Digital Design & Graduation
Advanced Motion / Interactive Design, Game Engines & Real-Time Visualization (Unity/Unreal basics – per department materials), Multimedia Production, Digital Presentation & Portfolio Development, Design Research Methods, Pre-Diploma Practice, Bachelor’s Thesis / Final IT-Design Project.
Students finalize their skills through advanced interactive design, multimedia production, portfolio development, pre-diploma practice, and a Bachelor’s thesis project.
Overview
The IT-Design program combines creative design with modern digital technologies, preparing students for careers in web design, animation, game design, virtual and augmented reality, and multimedia production. Students learn programming basics, 2D and 3D modeling, motion graphics, UX/UI design, and computer graphics tools. The program focuses on practical project work, digital creativity, and the development of interactive visual content.
