Entrance Exam Description

During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic subjects depends on speciality.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Program Structure

YEAR 1 – FOUNDATIONS OF ECONOMICS & ACCOUNTING
Core subjects: Introduction to the Specialty (Accounting & Audit), Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Mathematics for Economists, Statistics, Economic Theory, Information Technologies in Economics, Financial Activity of Enterprises, Ukrainian & Foreign Language / Academic Writing, Philosophy / History of Ukraine (general education).
Focus: forming basic economic knowledge, mathematics, and introduction to accounting.
During the first year, students build a strong foundation in economics, mathematics, and computer skills. They learn how businesses function, how money moves in the economy, and get their first introduction to accounting. This year helps students understand the economic environment and prepares them for more advanced accounting courses.

YEAR 2 – CORE ACCOUNTING SKILLS
Core accounting & finance subjects: Financial Accounting I, Financial Accounting II, Cost / Managerial Accounting, Tax System of Ukraine, Money and Credit, Finance, Economic Law, Enterprise Economics, Economic-Mathematical Methods, Practical components:, Computer Technologies in Accounting, Professional English.
Focus: students begin professional work with financial statements, taxes, and enterprise finances.
In the second year, students dive into the core of the profession. They study financial accounting, taxation, enterprise economics, and start working with real financial data. Practical IT tools and professional English are also introduced, helping students feel more confident in the accounting field.

YEAR 3 – ADVANCED ACCOUNTING, TAXATION & ANALYSIS
Professional disciplines: Management Accounting, Audit, Economic Analysis, Financial–Economic Control, Accounting in Foreign Economic Activity (International Accounting), Accounting & Reporting in the Public Sector, Accounting Policies of the Enterprise, Information Systems in Accounting and Audit, Corporate Finance, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Electives may include: Budgeting, Financial Risk Analysis, Digital Accounting Tools.
Focus: deep professional training, analytical methods, IFRS, and audit.
Year three focuses on advanced accounting, audit, financial analysis, and international standards (IFRS). Students learn how to analyze a company’s financial health, prepare reports, and manage taxes. This year gives them the skills needed for real work in companies, audit firms, and financial departments.

YEAR 4 – SPECIALIZATION, PRACTICE & THESIS
Specialized subjects: Forensic Accounting (Court Accounting Expertise), Controlling, Applied Audit, Accounting of Small Business, Sectoral (Industry-Specific) Accounting, Taxation of Enterprises, Mandatory components:, Internship / Professional Practice, Pre-diploma Practice, Bachelor’s Thesis (Final Qualification Paper).
Focus: practical experience, specialization, and preparation for employment.
During the final year, students specialize in areas like controlling, forensic accounting, sectoral accounting, and advanced taxation. They complete professional practice in companies, gain hands-on experience, and work on their Bachelor’s thesis. This year prepares them for employment or further Master’s studies.

Overview

It is the program that trains students to work confidently with financial reporting, auditing, and tax regulation. The curriculum combines economic theory with practical skills in financial accounting, management accounting, audit, and the Ukrainian and international tax systems. Students learn to analyze financial information, prepare documentation according to standards, and ensure compliance with tax and accounting regulations.

Career Opportunities

The program prepares graduates for careers as accountants, auditors, tax consultants, financial controllers, and tax inspectors in both private companies and public institutions. It also provides a strong foundation for continuing to a Master’s degree in the same field.
