Entrance Exam Description

During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic subjects depends on speciality.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Program Structure

Year 1 — Your Start in IT & Digital Engineering
In the first year, students build a strong foundation in programming, mathematics, and computer systems. You learn how computers “think,” how algorithms work, and how information technologies shape the modern world.
Subjects: Fundamentals of Programming, Higher Mathematics, Computer Architecture, Introduction to Information Systems, Discrete Mathematics, Basics of Data Processing, English for IT, Ukrainian / Professional Communication, Physical Training.
This year helps you feel confident in the basics of coding, system logic, and digital technologies.

Year 2 — Moving Into Real IT Tools & Technologies
The second year introduces more applied IT skills: databases, networks, system design, and web technologies. This is when you start creating your first full projects.
Subjects: Object-Oriented Programming, Database Systems, Computer Networks, Web Technologies & Web Development, Operating Systems, Systems Analysis, Probability Theory & Statistics, Human–Computer Interaction, Information Security Basics.
You begin building real information systems and understanding how hardware, software, and networks work together.

Year 3 — Professional Development & Intelligent Technologies
In the third year, you dive deeper into technologies used in aviation, business, and industry. You gain skills in system design, data analytics, and automation.
Subjects: Enterprise Information Systems; Software Engineering; Cloud & Distributed Systems; Data Analytics and Big Data Basics; Information Systems Design; Embedded and Cyber-Physical Systems; Project Management in IT; Decision-Making Systems. Elective Courses (AI, IoT, Digital Business, etc.)
This year turns you into a specialist who can design and manage complex digital systems.

Year 4 — Specialization & Professional Practice
During the final year, students choose specialization-oriented subjects and complete real internships at IT companies or aviation enterprises. You finish with a Bachelor's thesis based on a practical IT project.
Subjects: Intelligent Information Systems, Cybersecurity of Information Resources, IT Infrastructure Management, Systems Integration & Testing, Digital Transformation Technologies, Internship / Practical Training, Bachelor’s Thesis.
You graduate ready to join the IT industry with hands-on experience and a project portfolio.

Overview

The program is designed for students who want to build smart, efficient, and innovative digital solutions for modern industries — including aviation, business, engineering, and public services. This program combines computer science, system design, data technologies, and software engineering with a strong focus on real-world applications.

Students learn how to develop, integrate, and manage complex information systems, analyze data, create digital platforms, improve IT infrastructure, and ensure that organizations operate efficiently and safely. With access to modern laboratories, aviation IT environments, and hands-on engineering tools, students gain both technical and practical skills.

Career Opportunities

By graduation, students become specialists who can design information systems, support digital transformation, optimize business processes through technology, and work with intelligent software that powers modern enterprises, airports, and digital services.
