| Entry qualification | The certificate of Completed Secondary Education is required. Compulsory entrance exam. The entry qualification documents are accepted in English (except for documents issued in Ukraine upon completion of studies at local educational institutions) . In most cases you can request a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original & legalized (according to the international agreements) entry qualification documents along with you when you finally enter the university. |

Entrance Exam Description
The tests are expected to ensure entrant’s base level in language and certain disciplines is up to national standards.
Exams are taken online. I order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on Academy’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.
Program Structure
Year 1 – University foundations + entry to psychology
- University core: History & Culture of Ukraine; Modern Ukrainian Language; Philosophy; Law; Academic Writing; Information Systems & Technologies; Foreign Language; (optionally) Physical Education.
- Discipline entry: Introduction to the Specialty “Psychology”; Basics of Biology, Human Genetics & Anthropology; General Psychology; Anatomy & Physiology of the Human Nervous System; Psychophysiology.
Year 2 – Methods, development & social domains
- Core psychological sciences: History of Psychology; Practicum in General Psychology; Physiology of the CNS & Higher Nervous Activity; Developmental Psychology; Personality Psychology (+ course paper); Social Psychology (+ course paper).
- Measurement & counseling: Psychological Counseling (intro); Psychodiagnostics.
Year 3 – Advanced theory, assessment and applied work
- Advanced methods & differences: Differential Psychology; Experimental Psychology.
- Applied/clinical blocks: Clinical Psychology; Psychological Counseling (advanced + course paper); Psychological Correction; Theory & Practice of Psychotherapy; Crisis Intervention; Psychology of Traumatic Situations; Pathopsychology with Basics of Defectology; Gerontopsychology.
Year 4 – Professional practice, supervision & electives + thesis
- Professionalization: Fundamentals of Psychological Practice; Pedagogical Psychology; Supervision in Psychological Practice.
