Entrance Exam Description

During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic subjects depends on speciality.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Program Structure

Year 1 – Foundations of International Studies & Information
Introduction to International Relations, Basics of Political Science, History of International Relations, Foreign / Ukrainian Language, Philosophy and Ethics, Information Technologies in International Affairs, Academic Writing & Communication Skills, Basics of International Information Analysis.
Students study the basics of international relations, political science, history, philosophy, languages, and information technologies, developing strong analytical and communication skills.

Year 2 – Core International Information
International Communication, International Organizations and Global Governance, Comparative Politics, International Law, Data Collection and Analysis Methods, Media and Political Communication, Practical Exercises / Applied Projects, Statistical Methods for Social Sciences.
The curriculum covers international communication, global governance, comparative politics, international law, media, and statistical methods, combined with applied projects.

Year 3 – Advanced Analysis & Applied Skills
Foreign Policy Analysis, International Information Systems, Diplomacy and Negotiation Skills, Strategic Communication in International Relations, International Security Studies, Research Methods in International Information, Internship / Applied Training.
Learners focus on foreign policy analysis, international information systems, diplomacy, strategic communication, international security, and research methods, with internships or practical training.

Year 4 – Specialization, Research & Graduation
Advanced International Information Analytics, Global Media and Communications, Policy Analysis and Decision Making. Elective Courses (examples: Digital Diplomacy, Conflict Studies, European Affairs), Pre-Diploma Practice / Internship, Bachelor’s Thesis / Research Project.
Students deepen their expertise in advanced information analytics, global media, policy analysis, and complete pre-diploma practice and a Bachelor’s thesis project.

Overview

The program trains students in analyzing global information flows, international communication, and foreign policy, with a strong analytical focus on foreign affairs. It develops both theoretical and practical competencies, including decision‑making, data analysis, and working with information systems in an international context.
