| Entry qualification | The certificate of Completed Secondary Education is required. Compulsory entrance exam. The entry qualification documents are accepted in English (except for documents issued in Ukraine upon completion of studies at local educational institutions) . In most cases you can request a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original & legalized (according to the international agreements) entry qualification documents along with you when you finally enter the university. |

Entrance Exam Description
The tests are expected to ensure entrant’s base level in language and certain disciplines is up to national standards.
Exams are taken online. I order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on Academy’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Year 1 — Art & university foundations
- Academic Studies; History & Culture of Ukraine; Philosophy; Modern Ukrainian Language; Foreign Language; Physical Education; Information Systems & Technology; Basics of Academic Writing; Occupational Safety.
- Introduction to the Specialty “Design”; Computer Graphics; Basics of Composition; Descriptive Geometry & Perspective; Colour Science; Drawing (start).
Year 2 — Core studio skills
- Drawing (continued); Painting; Sculpture & Plastic Anatomy; History of Design; Art History.
- Design Projecting I; Computer-aided Design Projecting; Form-making, Layout & Modelling; Typography (Art of the Letter).
Year 3 — Advanced design & practice
- Design Projecting II (advanced studio); elective blocks begin (see below).
- Educational (introductory) practice and Project practice in the specialty.
Year 4 — Specialisation, pre-diploma practice & thesis
- Elective specialisation modules; Pre-diploma practice; Qualification project/thesis with public defence.
Elective menu: Photography; Photo-video editing; National Colouristics & Design Styles; Corporate Identity; Graphic techniques & materials; Advertising Design; Printing technologies; Animation Graphics; Poster Art; Web Design & Web Technologies; Modern Web Technologies; Basics of 3D Modelling; Basics of 3D Animation; CMS/automated website tools; HTML/CSS page development; SEO & Web Analytics; Site optimisation & promotion; Bionics in Design; Ethno-design.
